When your body temperature rises it comes to the surface as sweat to cool you down. Water helps maintain proper blood pressure. It keeps your blood moving and prevents it from getting thick. Drinking water can also provide cushions to the spinal cord, brain and other sensitive tissues.
If you drink water during a gym workout it will help prevent muscle cramps and keep the joints lubricated so you can work harder for longer.
Drinking water can also decrease the risk of a heart attack. Most heart attacks occur between 6 AM and noon. You should drink one 8 ounce glass of water before you going to bed. Water helps level out blood throughout the night and early hours of the morning. Blood is usually thicker during these hours because the body is dehydrated.
